A more enjoyable day today- trees and some hills on Cannock Chase. An extended canal-side walk after visiting the grounds of Shugborough.

    You passed through my birthplace, Brocton, and past the village and pub our family once owned in Tittensor and Burston.
    I don’t remember any mud.

    2. Actually yesterday was the most mud-free day, especially close to Brockton. You obviously didn’t get out much.
